Ahhh.... I <3 U2. ^_^ ...have been all listening to Achtung Baby and Zoo and stuff... kept trying to get hooked up with u2bloodredsky.com to get a ZooTV concert (pref. the Sydney one). Finally managed that...started in on anotehr concert (where one file was labeled "Larry speech"!!!! ^_^), but got disconnected...amazingly, was able to get reconnected to one of the mirror sites today, and while I couldn't finish getting the one I started last night, this thing is going *crazy* fast - where it usually takes me like, 4-6 hours? it's takin' me maybe 20 minutes to get a *couple* of concerts! ^_^
Thus, been on a d/n'ing spree, tho after I get these couple I'm workin' on (maybe 'nother half hour), I'm gettin' off so someone else can get on it... but recent/current downloads include:

*Boygroup - 11-81, in Germany..with a cranky Bono? (will have to listen..)
*bunch of 3rd leg October tour - Riverboat President (2-11-82; first American show on October tour, performed on a boat *G*), Minneapolis (2-21-82), St. Patrick's Day (3-17-82; first live performace of "Tomorrow", or so Bono claims, *really* cool, very dif. opening, Edge on tin whistle ^_^; also says "U2 were supposed to "sneak into" the parade, but decided against it when IRA member Bobby Sands dies earlier that day from his hunger strike. They change their mind, and instead quickly organize a solid, sell-out performance at The Ritz"), New York (3-18-82)
*Catholic or Protestant (12-02-82; "pre-War tour", first performace of NYD, abbreviated form)
*Lyon (10-18-84; first performance ever of "Bad" and "Indian Summer Sky" - ISS I've never heard a live version of! ^_^ ..tho it says Bono gets pissed at someone at the end on this one)
*Keeping the Faith Vol. 2 (1-23-84) ---err, wait. this's just "Indian Summer Sky" off a compliation bootleg. *shrug*
*Happy New Year (12-31-89)
*X-mas at the Point Depot (12-26-89; proclaimed one of the best U2 gigs ever..we'll see *g*)
Rotterdam 90 (1-6-90; "Running to Stand Still" has an extra verse)
*ZooTV Sydney (same's on the ZooTV vid)
*Heil Muenchen (two unreleased soundcheck tracks from '92 - had one, possibly both, or parts of before, but now have both in full ^_^)
*...tried for East Rutherford, '92, with the Lar-bit, but got disconnected...will have to wait 'til I can get back on that server.

(hehe. yes, I'm obsessed...but seriously, these are downloading *so* impossibly fast, I'm taking advantage of the speed that I don't usually get here! ^_^ ..(honestly, tho, stopping now. gonna go back later and try to get that E. Rutherford one, but that's it. *g*)

Oh, yeah. Should anyone want a copy of something, might be able to arrange that. ^_^ (Mainly mom, let me know - I know you haven't got this kind of internet connection to get this stuff.. *g*)
