Happy Easter!

Went to Jitter's with Blake th--err, yesterday afternoon. *grins happily* It was *so* good to see him again..it really, really was..been far too long, and he's still such a great person.. *smiles* ...sadly, no, I didn't tackle-glomp him..considered it, cos he got out of his car and started walking a bit towards the door when I wasn't outside waiting..but then Dad and Daf's parents distracted me, and I didn't, and Blake started moving back towards the car. gah. *giggles* ..not that that was the point of the afternoon, but, y'know.. ~_^ Anyway. We sat and talked for a good while, and then played checkers. First game, I won pretty easily. Second game, he kicked my arse pretty easily and it wasn't cool. Third game, he was *about* to lose.. then things went on a bit longer.. and I should have won.. but then.. I didn't pay close enough attention, and he triple-jumped me and got two of my kings. And then the only moves I had left, he was gonna jump me soon's I moved. *grooooaaaannns*
(Megs, don't you DARE re-interpret that. CHECKERS. SEE?? *points* gah. *giggles*)
But, as he pointed out, I only have to live with this another few weeks - then we'll both be home for the summer, and can have yet *another* rematch. *grins happily*

Was a bit odd, tho.. table next to us, there was this random old guy sitting there, eating or whatever, while reading through a Windows XP book. Which I thought was kinda cool. But out of the corner of my eye, I thought he was looking at me.. glanced up, he definitely was, I smiled a bit and turned back to the game.. *shrugs* odd. not sure if I should be flattered or disgusted or just not even think anything of it.. *shrugs again, laughs* I'll go for a touch of the first, more of the last, and leave it at that. *g*

Two and a half hours later, Blake dropped me off at my grandma's, where Mom and merani-chan and matantis were, for an early Easter dinner and stuff. Talked to the grandparents a bit, watched Star Trek and other random tv with tantis and merani for awhile 'til dinner was ready and all...were subjected to some random funky old-women talk, as one of grandma's friends dropped by, and she and grandma came in the room and started talking..goodness. *giggles* ..just a bit odd, old ladies talking quite blatently about this woman's granddaughter being not as slim, but also "having it where it counts".. *laughs* (Poooor matantamis... *hehe*)
But, was a good enough time there, the three of us are all getting along pretty well just now and all, which's always nice.. I got harassed a *bit* about my "date" with Blake, but not too much.. mom'd pointed out my ragged jeans to grandma, and grandma (teasingly) admonished me for not being dressed-up for going out with a guy like that.. tantis and merani were all, "ooo, yeah, a *daate*!" ...I told grandma it didn't matter really, I've known this guy since I was three years old, he saw me back in polka-dotted-dress days *groans*... she's like, "I know, he's like a brother to you know.." ...I muttered, "not quite..", and went out to the other room to sit down, where tantis and merani asked if he had a girlfriend or not yet, and I had to say no, not as far's I know, and they teased me a bit, but whatever.. *shrugs, smiles* who knows..

Got back here around 7.30, and hung out with a spazzing merani-chan, who decided to harass poor megs on aim.. *groans* I'm sorry, babe!!! *laughs* ..I saw all of it, I was sitting behind her over on the couch..and, well, she's creative, I have to admit. *giggles* ..she's going on and on about being caught in someone's digestive system or something..I dunno..*laughs*..I won't even try, but she was going on and on and I was cracking up.
Eventually, I got on, and while merani was flipping out and asking me, and Megs' Boy-Bono, and the stars in the sky, where her pants were, I tried to talk to people. *giggles* ..sorry if I was a bit distracted for awhile, guys... Anyway, Himeros IMed me..saying again that he's sorry...... I messaged him back, told him I know... and we kinda cleared the air a bit, and I think things are ok now. *smiles a bit* ..he's far too sweet for me to stay mad at. (And I know he didn't mean to hurt me.. things came out wrong, things were taken wrong, it was a bit me as well as him.. *hums "A Little Bit Me, A Little Bit You" just cos*...but I think things're alright, and I'm glad.....

Going to church in the morning--err, well, later...*giggles*..so I oughta get to bed (and b'sides, megs' Lil-Lar's there waitin' for me.. *hehe* ^_~) ... 'night, all.

...I stayed up all night ..... I took a step back from my life and waited ..... and watched to see ..... the son rise...
