Yes, it's finally sinking in..well at least kinda.
Cos I GOT MY TICKET TODAY for the Buffalo show FINALLY!!! and I was so relieved I was like bouncing up and down cos like, even in my *dreams* I was worried about it not getting here in time, me having to call Dad and see if it'd gone back *home* and then having to find out the addy of the girl we're staying with tomorrow night and having him overnight it THERE but then if it HADN'T come at home then I'd've had to've called Ticketmaster and tried to figure out SOMETHING and-----
Aren't we glad it came in the mail today? ^_______^
But something had to give today cos I had too much going on in my little brain, between spazzing over the awesome package from Megs that I got yesterday (omfg you're still THE BEST EVER *glooooomps* ^____^) and getting to class and being sidetracked by things and thinking about the concerts and everything else---
--so I forgot that band was over in King concert hall today. >_<
To make it worse, I was already running late... so I got to the band room at like 3.57 (band starts at 4), feeling relieved I'd made it...and then saw the note on the door reminding that rehearsal was in King. Fuuuuuuuck. So I sped-walked like mad over there, right? and there are like TEN FUCKING DOORS to this place. and they were *ALL* *LOCKED*. It was *bad*, I literally went around and tried *every* door on the friggin' building, ended up going in thru the Bartlet Theatre entrance and finding my way from there...managed to get there most of the way thru the warm-up. >_< Fortunately, that's the first time I've ever been late, and I've never missed a rehearsal, and I looked all frazzled and flushed and was sweating (cos it was warm and I'd been spazzing and speed-walking and I sweat like a pig anyway -_-; ) so I s'pose he took pity. And then I was actually like perfectly in tune on "Aubude" and it was like whoa and Mr Schenieder complimented me after rehearsal. ^______^ So that rocked.
And while the brass (and the newly-adopted organist..holy friggin' crap the pipe organ in King is AMAZING..I mean, it's always looked awesome, but I'd never heard it *played* before. it was like whoa.) played their friggin' song oooover and oover and oooover (showing why while pieces without brass can be nice, pieces that're ALL brass are typically a BAD idea. esp. as concert openers. we're sooo gonna die -_-;;; ), Jen and her friends who're coming with us showed me piiiiiics they took when they MET HANSON THIS MORNING!
Cos Hanson was doing a radio-spot in Buffalo, which I heard *about* from Britt but not 'til hoooours after it'd happened... Jen found out like last-minute and they got up mad friggin' early otherwise they would've gotten me she said. But that's ok cos I woulda looked/felt like shiiite and been like blah and icky and scared the pretty boys away. -_-; But piiics gooooodness me Taylor is WAY to gorgeous. No mortal boy should be as pretty as he and my Larry are. gheeeeeeeee...
So I need to find out if it's worthwhile trying to get my big-giant-yet-awesome-camera into the shows, and if so, buy maaaad film. Cos I *so* want to take pictures, but a disposable would just make me cry, with the flash and all. (Would also give me away and maybe get me in trouble.. not that a giant old-school slr wouldn't maybe, but it'd be less conspicuous from a distance and wouldn't distract dearsweetprettymusician-boys who're trying to play with evil flashofdoom.)
Also need to find out when we're coming *back*. *laughs* Cos we leave I guess about 10am - which means I miss *both* music history and ethics, but I can manage that, go to Toronto where a friend of Jen's there is saving us place in line, see the show there, then go stay over in Buffalo in her friend's dorm and then wait outside mad early and go to the show there. And someplace in there...apparently we know what hotel Hanson are staying in. Which means, knowing the people I'm going with, we will go find.
This, while nerve-wracking for shy-nonspeaking-little-me, will be good. ^____^ (Cos it'll clue me in on how to go about this sort of thing, so I'll know for U2's next tour. ^___^ *maaaad giggles* Dreadful, aren't I? But really, the whole time Jen's talking to me about all this stuff, I'm instantly applying it to U2 in my head. *laughs* Madness...)

But yeah, should be an awwwwesome time. ^_____^ *bounces* ..not that I'm thinking I'll be like, a real part of the party of all of us, cos.. for one thing, I've been out of the Hanson fan-loop for a loooong time.. if I was ever properly in it, which I don't think I was. I really truly love their music, but they're not my #1 band. (No-one's anywhere near supplanting U2. *g* If anything, Sigur Ros is second, but that's partly cos they're my especial darlings cos I'm one of the few who knows who they are. And they're just *so* unlike anything else and it's amazing.. but no matter how close I think they get to #1 on my list, once I listen to "11 O'Clock Tick Tock" again it's alllll over. *G*) That, and the people I'm going with are big and loud and outgoing. I'm not. (Actually it's fun cos I feel so liiiittle next to like, Jen. Which's rather a different, and sort of nice, thing for me. Feel dreadful saying it, but... *shrugs* it's true.) And I'm just quiet anyway when I'm around people I don't know...
...I'm a lot quieter in general now than I used to be...that random spastic hyperness is a lot rarer now, except online...*shrugs* dunno.

The other potential problem is that I woke up with a sore throat today. Gland(s?) swollen completely out of fucking control. (Yes again.) My body has issues, it doesn't like me going out and having a good time. :p So I'm (planning on) going to bed early tonight and drinking lots of juice and we'll see if I can't thwap this into submission by tomorrow night. Cos I need a voice. ^_^ (Not.. that I'm always that big with the screaming. Sometimes, yes, esp. if it's loud enough that I know no-one can hear me. *g* But I'm far more likely to sing along with eeeeverything. And I listened to the "Underground" album allll day today so s'all good, I know words now. ^_^)

I've done far too many parathensis tonight.

...and Megs *still* hasn't come online. *frowns* This has me worried by now, she wasn't on while I was on break at work, no messages when I came back, and it's nearly ten and she's not on.
