So I'm officially miserable scared upset on the verge of tears etc.
And I still have packing to do, and I should sleep but I don't think I can right now..I'm scared to leave the computer, I know the minute I'm truly alone I'm going to cry.
*siiiiighs*
Just, there's been so much trouble and lack of communication and frustration about moving into our place on Eagle Street, first I learn that two of my housemates have been there for like a month and did all this work on the place..which was great, I mean, I appreciate it..I just wish I'd known. However they've also worked out plans for the internet and cable and etc...and tech-snob though I may be, I get awfully cranky when things related to my computer usage are done without my input. Had they talked with me about this first, I would've pointed out that network cables aren't a huge deal *and* they're cheaper *and* our computers are all already set up for them, *and* I could set up the network myself. (Granted I've not done it, but I've a pretty good idea, and a router'd come with instructions anyway.) But noooo, it's a wireless network we must have for an extra $5 a month, and me and probably others without wireless network cards.

So apparently there's internet on the one computer..but that's it until we're all there and can get an appointment made.
I head down tomorrow, Britt Saturday/Sunday.
People are not going to come work on these things on a weekend.

Oh and on top of that? The phone was supposedly hooked up Tuesday, but isn't working yet, they're planning on calling tomorrow to figure out what's up.

So, if y'all don't hear from me for awhile, yeah that'd be why.

This is the one time I wish I had a cellphone, cos even my magic calling card with the basically endless minutes (thanks to my grandparents) won't help me if there's no phone.

..the first bunch of days away are going to be hard enough, settling in and all, but with Britt not being there for a day or two, and me not knowing Meghan'n'Justin as well, and them at work all day anyway.....

Don't be surprised if y'all get a batch of snail-mail within the next week or so.

I can't even do *that*, can I, everyone moving, I haven't anyone's addresses. Well except for Megs', who's definitely getting a *mad* long letter if I haven't any internet all weekend. meh.

But yeah, on that note? let me know phone numbers and addresses soon's everyone knows them. ^_^

..ok venting here calmed me a little. I think. *sighs* Really, I hate leaving such a downer of a post up for a few days, but I really can't come up with---

* I got madtons of Ramen today and it was mad cheap. This makes me happy.
* I FOUND SHOES!!! omfg. *laughs* After like, a day and a half or something spent before, all we did was walk into Penney's tonight and *bam*, cool shoes. It was like whoa. I have Sketchers now, so I might be some sort of cool, but I'll work to deflect that asap. *G*
* I FOUND ANGEL SANCTUARY MANGA WOOOOO!!! *happy dance* I have been looking for this for, what, like, four, five years now? basically as long as I've been at all into anime, this was one of the first series I found out about (goodness only knows how), and downloaded (*ridiculously* shitty) fansubs of the anime for. However, even in manga form there's 4738209 things going on, so a three-episode oav? good lord was it a condensed mess. *laughs, shaking head* But I have the first volume of the manga and the artwork is goooorgeous <3 and there're more angelwings than I think I've seen in anything like ever <3 and the story's all angels and fallen angels and.. well ok some sketchy, twisted plot, but, s'all good. *g*
* Also got the seventh (of fifteen ^^; ) volume of Mars, which makes me happy, and the first volume of Pet Shop of Horrors, which I've wanted for awhile. Manga was on sale at Media Play. <3
* Dad was awesome and mowed next door for me so I've one less thing to worry about tomorrow at least..
* Megs' eye appointment is tomorrow so her eyes will be better soon which makes me very happy cos I worry. *cuddles*
* I have clips of two new U2 songs, and the new single will be out in just over a month. *deep breath* I can make it that long..and once I have new U2 music, that'll carry me for quite awhile...
* Also just over a month 'til Megs visits again. ^_______^
* I have the best friends in the entire world, people who not only read my endless pointless babble but listen and console and help and are intelligent thoughtful caring loving passionate strong talented amazing people. Love you all, more than I can say. ^_^

*deep breath* alright. my itunes is playing me "40" (from the '83 Rochester show yay!). there's a chance I can get to sleep without curling up into a pathetic little ball and crying for awhile, so let's give it a shot. *g* best of luck with the moving-in, for all you fellow college-people, and sweet dreams to everyone~
