mmk so I need to start talking about things. *giiiggles*
So tonight Brian (Himeros, 'member him? *giggles*) picked me up and we went for coffee (well, iced chais, really *g*) and then bounced around going one place after another cos we kept talking and neither of us wanted to stop, it'd been waaaayyyy too long since we'd talked and hung out.. must've been a year, easy. Too long. He's so my artist-buddy forever, I'd forgotten how much fun it is bouncing ideas around with him. :) And it's awesome cos we're actually on some of the same wavelengths - he's just started reading
Doctor Faustus. ^____________^ We're both really intrigued by religious dogma/mythology, trying to sort out where it came from and what all it entails and things.. of course, he's actually skimmed through the Necromacon, which ehm, I haven't. *giiiggles* (But with him, it's out of curiousity alone, not an intrest in devil-worship with any of this.) But yeah, dropped by his house and he showed me some of what he's been doing lately, came back here and I showed him some of what I've done, talked about ideas and processes and philosophy, and more mundane things too, don't get me wrong *giggles* his still-recovering leg (broke it badly awhile back - not that this is unusual for him ^^; ), relationships, y'know.
He bought a bunch of tanned rabbit fur off of ebay and covered his bike with it. His video was of skeletons bowing to a drawing-mannequin on a cross. Ahhh, Brian.. *giiggles*
So yeah that was fun. :)
Yesterday was a shopping trip with Grandma, mostly for random supplies for school like shampoo and notebooks and things (also bought tom birthday presents *blows kisses*), but then we went to Salvation Army for clothes. Two pairs of jeans and four shirts for $23, yo. \0/ (One pair of jeans is border-line small.. a size bigger'n I usually wear but my hips are a lil bigger than the jeans agree with. *giggles* They fit, but the snaps unsnap if I move too much. So I think I'm just going to cut a slit at the waist on the sides and put in a little wedge of fabric..or more likely like, a bit of black lace or something. ^_^) It's funny tho, almost everything I got was like black and things, Grandma was probably all tsk'ing me mentally, heeeehehe. But it was fun.
Suuunday was.. ... ..wait lol what was Sunday? oh yeah. *giggles* Sunday was lunch at Jitter's with Kevin, which was fabulous cos other'n a few minutes at the play I'd not talked to *him* in like a year either. Only - get this - HE OVERSLEPT!!!! and SLEPT LATER THAN MEEEE!!!!! *faaaallls over laaaauuughing* He was supposed to pick me up at 1, so I got up at noon, and was ready sitting outside by 1. About 1.15, there was a phone call for me, and it was Kevin, and he was like, I am SO sorry but, I overslept. And I cracked up, heeeehehhee.
But yeah. *giggles* So he picked me up a bit after 1.30, and we hung out for..I guess a bit over an hour, he had a grad party to get to later that afternoon. But we taaaalked and talked and caught up on things, and it was soverynice. (And I~~~ found out about his lovelife! \0/ bwa. *giiiggles* No-one else has, I'm so special, heeehehehe.) Kevin's just one of those friends I can talk to after any length of time and still be perfectly comfortable with and have everything be the same still.. even though we've both grown a looot since hs, who we are at heart won't ever change. :)
(Also what was nice to hear.. is that he's not so sure what he's doing after he graduates either. That made me feel a lot better about my own uncertainties.. he has ideas, but he's not sure exactly what he's doing, and he's Kevin and he's usually got all this stuff figured out, so I'm less worried now, y'know? ^_^)
So then Saturday was our trip down to Charcoal Corral in Perry and it was happy. ^_____________^ Me and Daf and Matt and Glenn and Julie were the ones who ended up going, we all piled into Daf's car and drove down, and somehow WBER comes in all the way down there now. \0/ heee. We parked the car soon after getting there, so we were in the front row (well, once we got into the right lot..and got yelled at for parking away from other cars instead of filling in the empty place..heehehe oops), whihc was happy. Then we went and played mini-golf.. I have pics which I'd put up tonight except that it's 3am and I should sleep soon. *giggles* Will put up tomorrow if I remember, if I don't, will have them up soon. *g* Glenn kept trying to make crazy-ass shots against and over the rocks and ponds and things. And he *did* succeed in hitting his ball into the water at one point. *giiiggles* Julie managed to hit her ball outside the fence that encloses the course..and just then a truck came up the lil road that's outside it. (The guy driving looked at us and was laughing and drove to the side of the ball, hehehe.) Then Julie went and got the ball, and stepped onto the fence to get back in...and the fence broke. ^^;;; *dies giggling* So we uh, hurried to the next hole lol. I think that was it for major mishaps..no clue who won, if anyone tallied up the scores I never heard about it, but it doesn't matter. *g* Played in the arcade a bit, ordered pizza, played in the arcade (woooooot buck hunt 2006!), ate pizza (mmmm corral pizza <333) outside despite the occasional sprinkling of rain, finished up our tokens in the arcade and pooled our tickets.. I'd brought my stash from home, so we had a bit over 200 to spend. We got three candy necklaces, some bubbles, two of the lil plastic half-sphere things that pop, and three lil mini-disks to through around. *G*
Saw "The Wedding Crashers" and "The Longest Yard", neither of whihc was half as bad as I'd thought they'd be. "Wedding Crashers" turned out to be really sweet in places, and while I had my gripes about both movies, they really weren't bad for a night out with friends (and $6 for two movies, heee <3). After the movie, someone's car wouldn't start and they were trying to jumpstart it, asked us if we could shine our headlights their way so we did, and Glenn went to help them with the wires cos he said they had it wrong (the rest of us had noooo clue).
Listened to political conspiracy theories the whole way home, and I got in about 2.30. Five minutes later, Daf'd gotten online (which meant everyone was now home)..I heard thunder and it began pooooooouring. *giiiiggles* Fecking amazing timing yo.
And now it's like 3.20 and I've an email to Tom to finish and omFg I need to sleep.. I've been trying to get back on a reasonable sleep-schedule and it's so just not happening. *hides* meep.
Sorry for such a long post y'all, but.. hey, I caught up. *G*
