Silly little ridiculous boy needs to learn to trust my judgement when it comes to food. Eating two burgers at Burger King WILL make your tummy hurt. Fruits and veggies really ARE good for you.
This IS very good and you enjoyed it.
Boys.
It's freaking hot out, even making pasta salad was far too much effort and heat. NOT THAT I'M COMPLAINING! I'm totally psyched to still be wearing t-shirts and no jacket. But it seems to have sapped my energy a bit more than planned. I did make it to the post office though, and treated myself to a visit to the antique store. :) I found two lovely little postcards and a stereoscope slide I liked (there's always tons of them there, which still strikes me as unusual), a really gorgeous old illustration of a little girl with holly in her hair, which I'll have to find a frame for I think, and a very pretty little handkerchief, covered in light blue embroidered flowers. (It made me think of the flower-covered kerchief in a few of the BtD stories. <3) They also had this stunning little mini folding screen, with two large Asian paintings on it, which I totally fell in love with...only it was $125. ha. Oh well. I have pretty little pictures to use as drawing/writing inspiration for my Phistos.
Blaaaaahhhhh I don't want to get up in the morning. Tom needs to be at work at 7, me at 9, therefore I get up at 6 along with him. Which works out well because then I have time to hang around Tim Horton's and slowly wake up and have a bit of breakfast, and it's such a fantastically productive writing-time for me. BUT, still not so keen on the early wake-up. Heat's making me drowsy enough that maybe I'll fall asleep early. :)
However, now that I have a $5 in my possession at last, I can do laundry! I've been putting it off for days and days and it's ridiculous. (The apartment complex's machines don't take money directly, they take money from a little plastic card. The card machine will only let you pop in $5, $10, and $20 bills to put money on said card. PAIN IN THE BUTT omfg.)
