The artichoke dip was a major success. :)
...I was also highly amused to see my surprisingly-healthy, tofu-laden dip get eaten up right next to Sam's chicken wing dip. Artichoke, tofu, yogurt, real cheese. Chicken from a can, cream cheese, blue cheese dressing. Both were super-delicious. Pretty much equal amounts were consumed. (By both me and everybody else.)
Heidi you are my hero.
...it was actually a pretty fun night over at Sam's. We managed to talk Tom into coming, which made me very, very happy. A handful of PF crew were there, an extra boyfriend or two, another friend of Sam's, maybe ten people tops. Half were drinking, half were not, but we all had fun playing drinking games anyway. Luke played up having to take another swig of Dr. Pepper just as much as Sam taking a swig of beer. Sam's dogs provided entertainment by way of getting underfoot and also sneaking out of the house when the pizza arrived. I think we got home about 1am - Tom has long-since decided that he is not going to let having to work the next day be any reason to curtail his activities - WalMart is not worthy of sacrifices. (I wasn't going in until 1pm, so all was well.)
