Been working on "Until the End of the World" for the last few hours...this's really gotta be the best thing I've ever written...I was reading thru some old entries on Topaz Meanderings, tho, and realised - I've been working on the fic since December!..man...it *should* be good!!! *g*
But it's actually coming along quite well right now, the end is in sight! ...err, well...*completion* is in sight...I finished up the ending earlier tonight...gotta work out some middle parts... -_^

Hello again... haven't been on the cpu so much, since Rhonda's still very very ill...(My brother named all the cpus in our house...Rhonda's the good one in the living room, Alice is the oldest one in my brother's room (which I'm on right now), and Boquisha's the middle one, in the basement. *g*)
...but my sister told me the coolest thing the other day...
She's in sixth grade, and the teacher was teaching them the Big Bang theory, saying that that's how the universe was created...and (nearly?) every kid in the class yelled back, 'No, you're wrong! God created the universe!
That's awesome.
...hope for the upcoming generations yet... -_^

..but I can't just leave with a complaint...happy thoughts!...lessee...
Ran into my first grade teacher today...which was cool, she was so very nice...still is, really...she couldn't believe I was a senior...and it was odd, I realised - I had her over a decade ago! ..sounds so long...(any adult reading this is prolly laughing ruefully now, but..look, I'm 18, whaddya want?! *g*)...
Oh yes. Came up with a new theory today. 'Cept this one I think's a law..:

Math is the root of all evil.
proof 1: Math is evil, as evidenced by the large amounts of hatred many people feel regarding it. (Those who enjoy it..well..they're just insane. Or possessed. Or something.)
proof 2: The especially evil parts of science are math-related.
proof 3: The standard phrase "money is the root of all evil" is simply a corollary to this, as money would have no meaning without math.
proof 4: Gym class, which is without a doubt evil, employs the use of math in things like score, mile runs, etc.

Today....was *not* a good day...math was *evil* (I'll save the gripe, tho..scribbled it out in my sketchbook, that got it sufficiently outta my system, for now..)...choir, eh...band? yeah. I was all looking forward to band, as usual, oh yes, *band* will cheer me up! Yeah, right. I walk in, and who's there, but... Ok. I'll be good an' not say her name, but to quote "Drop Dead Fred" (which's an awesome movie - psycho British guy! woo!): "Begone, Evil One!" (*Much* more effective if said in the corrct slightly-crazed Brit accent, of course. *g*) ..but yes...she was first flute my sophomore year...and she was mean..never even acknowledged the prescence of anyone but the first flutes, us seconds and thirds worked out our *own* parts...and then, there was a place for just *one* flute for the play that year. And lowly-lil-sophomore me got it. And I got put into the lesson group with the top four senior flutes' flute quintet? And I got the first flute part on like, all the songs. So she didn't like me much...and, as mentioned, she was mean anyway. So yeah, saw her today, all of us who remembered her were exchanging glances...I'm like, if Mead pulls up a chair for her next to me, in 1st flute position, I am *not* gonna be happy.
Of course, he did. "You've been replaced, since you skipped your lesson this morning." Never mind that instead of remembering I had a lesson, I was trying with every once of myself to *not* fail a Calculus quiz--!!!!!...gah....so I had to sit second chair to her. All band. And it was baaaad...she's as bad, if not worse, than she ever was...and even back in sophomore year, I knew her tone stunk, and I knew *nothing* about tone then!
But yeah...so that was bad...lunch was ok, english wasn't bad (more Hamlet, but that's ok, it's not bad...movie's fun..well, the real version, with Patrick Stewart and..I'm gonna spell his name wrong...Chakobi? summat like that..as Hamlet..great stuff.). Gym was just bad, cos he made us all play kickball, and he chose team captains to pic teams! Which is, like, as self-esteem-killing as you can frickin' *get*, when you're not an athlete...*woulda* made me feel miserable, had I actually *cared*..but it's gym so I don't. Early dismissal was fun, did some e-mailing, took pics of the drumkit for my photography assignment ;)...jazz band was fun...
Ah...*vented*...
..need to sleep now--! *g*

..but the cpu's bein' freaky, says we only have like, 41 mgs of space left...when about an hour ago, we had like, 19 gigs...*hrm*...I didn't save *that* many new pics--!!! *g*

Currently listening to: Television, The Cure, Sunny Day Real Estate, Burning Stars, and Patti Smith. Patti Smith I'm really likin', had heard plenty *of* her, but not much of her music...good stuff. "Dancing Barefoot" I already liked, having heard U2's cover of it (*g*..how else do I ever hear of bands, b'sides U2 connections?? -_^), but this's good stuff...(and can totally hear REM in this, too..Michael Stipe rants at the end of a live recording I've got, so very much like her spoken-word thing at the end of "Dancing Barefoot"...)
..yes, I'm still procrastinating...really *am* going upstairs now, tho...bloody stuff *must* be done...*siiigh*...God only knows how much I hate it, tho...I mean, I could (and *should) be ranting about more worthwhile things, y'know, like..I dunno...the crap state of the music world in general..the environment..the tax system..society in general..the decay of the internet as we once knew (and loved) it - it's getting better, and worse at the same time....but what am I doing? Complaining that I hate math. *sigh*..I'm tellin' ya...the system really *is* corrupt..getting us into this mindset that grades are so very important, that school and math and all this shite are so very crucial to life..when they're not..I love learning, I really do..but not things that aren't relevant to me..and math isn't..but they tell me it is...
..but, see, I haven't time for this whole rant now...gotta go do my fucking homework...

My brother is running around the house, saying "KSSSHHHH!", and claiming he's Spiderman, as he jumps up and down the stairs...(He's 16 now, mind you.) (And I don't think he's ever read a Spiderman comic in his life, to tell you the truth...*slightly concerned*...)
...procrastinatinggggggg....I hate calc...totally don't wanna do it...just want to sit here, play in photoshop, and listen to all my good music...*sigh*...ah well...*sullenly going up to do stupidevilhomework*...

Also, volunteered up at the mall today, helped run the Kiddie Train for a few hours - it was *so* fun! ...little kids are truly adorable... -_^
