Bono: "You didn't let me finish what I was saying, I was going to say, I don't dislike anyone in this band, except the druummer."

If you want to hear the most un-U2 thing U2's done in awhile, get "Fast Cars" from me... it's like "Can You Dig It?" on tequila. *giggles merrily* It's soooo gooooood. And they've never done anything quite like it before, which just makes it even more fun. It's awesome.

"Mercy"...is amazing. I love, soooo, so much. Something about it reminds me of something else, but I'm not sure what... I think it's that a few of the note-patterns seem Sting-like to me. And then other bitlets sound like things from the Achtung Baby outtakes. (Which reminds me, Andre is awesome/evil, cos he linked me to torrents of both the 3-cd and 7-cd versions of the full Axtung Beibi outtakes *drooooooool*. I *so* do not have the harddrive space for this right now - or the 70+ other torrents on the site that I want/need. My cd burner's still not liking me.)
But "Mercy" is...just... ghee. <3

Well, so much for getting to bed early...or starting at that philosophy paper due Thursday...or working on my novel like I should be...
Megs, Andre and I had a massive comment-fest on Megs' lj. *giiiiggles*
Andre and I're still going, though I think I'm going to call it a night soon.

It began..well. *giggles* I don't even remember how it began, and Megs' lj is loading soooo slooowly at this point, thanks to the 100+ comments the three of us managed. But it mostly started with Edge adoration, decreeing that he should be in charge of the world (or nearly so), and then the construction of an Edge shrine.
And then certain drummers were brought into the fray, and I succumbed.
And..
yeah. *giggles* if you're in the mood for madness and don't mind wading through far too many sub-pages of threads, pop over here.

Ahhh.

Somehow, the madness began with Megs talking about her boy talking in his sleep about fixing things. *giiiiiggles*

You would not even believe how sloooooowwwww Megs' lj started loading, how long it took for the comments to send. It was fabulous. We probably caused any number of posts to be timed-out for others, which I'd feel guilty about were I not barely conscious right now. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

And 11 O'Clock Tick Tock is the most kick-assingest thing ever.
I'd listen to it now but I don't think my body could handle that much right now without sustaining damage. (From swooning and falling off the chair and landing on the various items on my floor, if nothing more severe.)

(Which reminds me, I soooo found a printed copy of the Lunch fic the other day - if it's been lost elsewhere, I still have a hardcopy. *giiiiiiggles* It's the most fabulous thing ever. Lemon fluff! The Perfect Sandwich! Larry falling off a stool! ... ..which I really shouldn't giggle at, and DEFINITELY should not have written in the first place, but...
