THREE years after the birth of Larry Mullen's youngest (and two years after we knew about it), we *finally* learn the name.

..and also that said youngest is a *daughter*, not a son.

*giggles, shaking head* Lar's officially the best ever at keeping things away from any sort of media, as well as his own fans, goooodness.

Anya. pronounced "AWN-ya".

this might well be my new fav name, how pretty is that?? ^_________^ all the sites I checked said it was a Russian diminutive of Anna, but Megs found a few sites with Gaelic names, and discovered it means "radience", and is the name of a Celtic goddess.

this makes me very happy. ^_^ (as does the fact that - this is sad, I know *giggles* - this means he has three children, whose names all start with the same letter, which is cute, and also the same as my siblings and I. *g*)

updated DS again, new U2 desktops cos I wanted one. *giggles*

Otherwise, nothin' really new.. working a bit less, now that Eric-the-work-spazz is back from vacation, babysitting Saturdays, mowing when it's not thundering and pouring outside (which isn't often), sorting old photos (got the majority of old family ones in chronological order, and fiiinally my Italy shots into an album), talking to Megs, and watching mad tons of stuff (Monkees and Jem, of course, Queer as Folk that Megs lent me, and maaaaaad tons of anime I've downloaded, mainly Hundred Stories, Rose of Versailles, and Sailor Moon Stars). Drawing and writing here and there, mainly sketches and bits of things...but I finally found the outline for the chibi-Lar thing I want to actually finish, so maybe I'll do that eventually. *g*
Also have been updating my lj again, and I really intend to on a more regular basis. Really this time. ... ..ok you don't have to believe me, I know quite well it'll slip my mind again before long. *giggles, shaking head*

...actually, that's been my main excitement lately, events in the closet... ^__________^ ...anyone who cares to know probably already does, but if not go check out the U2s' blog and you'll see. *g*
