25 hours and I'm going to be hyperspastically tackle-glomping Megs in the airport.

*takes a slow, deep breath* and rides and all are worked out.. I can stop feeling stressed any time now..... granted I still have a bathroom to clean and a project due for my first class tomorrow (mostly done..I'll get there a bit early and finish it, it's on the computer there) and idek what all else, but...

goodness am I ever going to sleep soundly tonight.

*laughs softly* ..reading through archives is painful, I sounded like such a *dork* two years ago.
On the bright side, that means that in theory, I sound like less of one now. (At least until I look back on this two years hence...)

And I can see just how much I *have* changed in these few years.. I was just re-reading a page from September 2002, when I was just starting college.. and "Electrical Storm" had just come out, I was spazzing over seeing the video on tv for the first time.
*laughs softly* That, at least, hasn't changed, I know that when I see the video for "Vertigo", I'm going to again fall to my knees, hands clasped over my open mouth, eyes wider'n anything and shining bright with stars...
Such a lil spazz of a fangirl. *giggles*

(But the bit I'd written, about the first time I felt I'd slipped into another time, while walking back from class and passing by the Adamboy and all.. it's strange, I was trying to be all writerly with that, and was soon a little embarrased by it cos I thought it sounded pretentious and things.. but goodness *laughs gently* it was so much less than what I slip into in late-night entries lately.. that one was only a touch higher than my normal-writing is now.. I think it's a good thing. *smiles* That's one thing I'm finally beginning to trust more, my writing.. still nervous and shy and insecure about it overall, but it's a little stronger now...
Although I still abuse elipsis like a mofo. *g*)

Project Gutenberg continues to be one of the most delightful things ever.

While they haven't the entirely of Faust in English, they *do* have The Sorrows of Young Werther (my translation has it as "Sufferings", but most have "Sorrows") and the very same book of Goethe's poetry that I have from the library and am enjoying so much.

And now *I* have copies, to hold me through in the time between returning said books, and being able to locate my own copies.

Despite its evils and its frustrations, the internet is still a wonderful thing.
