I just got hit on by a 70-year old man on the bus. *laughs gently*
But it wasn't creepy, he was sweet, it was cute, and it made my day. *giggles* The bus driver asked if I'd gotten a number from Britt, she'd talked to a girl I went to school with, someone who knew me... and this guy's like, 'If I was about forty years younger *I'd* like to know Melissa', and I blushed and laughed softly, the bus driver adn the guy started talking about seeing girls in general, the guy asked where I was from, teased me on the pronounciation (as everyone does *giggles*), but it was sweet, and when he got off the bus he said goodbye to me and said I had a beautiful name and that he'd've at least tried a line on me were he that much younger. *g*
But it was just cute, idek, so random, but... I don't usually even have anyone talk to me, y'know? It was sweet.

..that, and, it's all good, cos this made me forgot that the bus was a good ten minutes late. *g*

Thank you for putting up with me, no matter how ridiculous I'm being, how depressed or stressed or dull or obnoxious or dark I might be.. I can never thank you enough for all you've gotten me through, whether small or large.. you're so good to me, no matter how stupid I'm being, I wish I could be as sweet and caring and thoughtful as you are, I wish I'd stop being so selfish and self-centered, I wish I'd stop doubting things like I do...
So, again.. I'm sorry..

I hope Lar made you happy tonight, dear.. I love you, and I promise to get sleep tonight, and I'll be happy again. *huuuugs*

Someday, I'd really like to stop mis-hearing lyrics so badly.. I mean, most things, okfine, but the minute Bono's words get a little garbled? I mis-hear them in the oddest ways...
"oh you look so beautiful tonight"? no. I hear "all you love, so beautiful tonight"
and now there's a line, andre heard it as "intellectual tortoise", and that's really what it sounds like, so long as you don't pronounce "tortoise" the way we silly W'rn NYers do. *giggles* me? admitedly, I wasn't listening very closely, but I heard "intellectual toy of choice".
I kinda like my versions better. *giggles* But, I mean, when I get something wrong, I'm absolutely noooowhere near the right thing, it's so *weird*.

Not to overwhelm things over there, but it's not like I have a high amount of readership anyway. *giggles* Andre spazzes as badly as Megs and I do, and he has links to both U2's rehearsal and performance on Top of the Pops the other day. ^________^ gogo. Not the best quality, from the audience, but omFg goooogogogogo, if only for the sake of "City of Blinding Lights", which I *knew* would be amazing...
