Four new pretty desktops over on
DS.
...still recuperating from the past few weeks, I've got a bit of catch-up work done on
BtD, but not nearly as much as I'd like, so that's what this weekend's for.
wtf spring break is coming up? ..I'm actually annoyed by it, sad as that sounds, I've so much work to get done here, and I'm getting enthused about it again, and only like one or two things can be worked on away from campus. sigh.
p.s. check out the links I posted over on
my video class blog, good stuff.
MY DVD IS FIIIIIINIIIIIIISHED!!!!!!
*dances all over*
I feel so relieved, I reallyreallydo. Matt helped me out, we flung it together on his comp, and ran into more stupid errors, but eventually we got past them and IT IS DONE!
So I came back here, all happy and relieved and just feeling so much lighter, y'know? And resumed the search for my SUNY card - couldn't find it at ALL this afternoon, which hadn't made my stress levels any better. Finally found it!!!! And it was good.
And the fire alarm went off.
So Tom and I got dinner at the WilliC, and came back here to eat, I used my card in the door, all happy to be able to do so again (I'd borrowed Tom's all day to go to the lab and things)---
And the fire alarm went off again.
So we waited to see, and other people were leaving the building, so we did the same. There were no RAs to be found, we weren't sure what to do, thought about just going back in - the system has glitched so many times this year, usually when it goes off a second time like that we don't even bother leaving our rooms.. but because we had no clue what was going on, someone called the university police.---
hangon, it's going off yet again, brb.
nm, it stopped.
Anyway.
So we called the police, who're housed in our building, and it turned out there really WAS a fire - smoke coming out over in 300 house, on the other side of the building.
So Tom and I went back to WilliC to eat our dinner. *giggles*
Came back awhile later, and joined the crowd over by 300 house, and learned the fire was caused by someone cooking enchiladas. Fire truck pulled away soon after, and we came back inside.
S'all good now, it went off once more but we hadn't even gotten out the door before it stopped, so we shrugged and went back to our rooms.
Wheeeeeeeeeeeee~~~
